MAU to Issue CARES ACT Grants to Financial Aid Students

Millennia Atlantic University (MAU) is honored to announce that it will use the CARES ACT to support its financial aid students by providing grants to help cover their student living expenses.

On March 27, 2020, the HEERF Fund Report Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) was signed into law. One of the many important provisions of the bi-partisan legislation allows the Department of Education to direct funding to universities such as Millennia Atlantic University, to administer direct financial assistance to students that are in need due to (COVID-19) through emergency financial grants.

Millennia Atlantic University appreciates that Congress and the President have made these critical funds available for eligible students who have expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to the coronavirus pandemic. We take receipt of these federal funds seriously and are distributing them in accordance with the CARES Act and implementing guidance.
