COVID-19 has changed how we live, study and work. A new normal is upon us and I admire your tenacity and resilience in facing these challenge.
At MAU, we understand that returning to campus and classrooms filled with students could potentially add to the stress you may be experiencing during this time. Accordingly, the fall semester will begin with instruction being conducted remotely. This is a temporary situation, however, so please be aware that classes could revert to being held in person on campus some time during the semester. Classes will be kept on the same lecture schedule as they are offered on campus, however, the University is using Google Classroom to deliver the content by remote means.
The Registrar’s Office is in the process of preparing and sending your course schedules. It is important that you are familiar with your @student.maufl.edu email as this email address will be used for all communications from the University as well as your login for your remote classes.
In an effort to further ease the transition to remote classes, we will be introducing a new access point for all your online needs called the “Virtual Nest.” This will help you locate your classes, student email, grades and other online resources that will be needed throughout the semester.
We will be sending out additional information as it comes available. Stay tuned. Stay safe.
Do not hesitate to contact the Student Services Department at studentsvcs@maufl.edu if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Aristides Maza-Duerto, Phd
Campus President
